Some people who meet me think I'm crazy, but that's really not the case; I'm just the exception to the norm. The 2 things you should probably know up front are that I rely far more on logical thinking than emotional, and might be the most positive pessimist you'll ever meet.

I enjoy playing / listening to music, going to the movies (by choice I don't own a TV, that's what the computer is for), cooking, swimming, video games (console or PC doesn't matter), and generally trying new things.

Past long term relations have left me pretty much ignorant of how to socialize as a single since I did too well training myself responding to females in less of a sensuous and more genial mannerism, please dont hold that against me. Where to begin.... Well my name is Michael Phelps (not the swimmer). I am 23 and stationed at Ft. Hood TX but my home is in Freeburg Illinois (about 15 minutes outside of St. Louis). I am in the Army right now and will be until 2012. I love sports (Rams, Cardinals, and Blues games) and movies of all genres. I also like going out to eat (Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse and all that good stuff). I listen mainly to rap by myself but with others can listen to pretty much anything. Video games are always fun to play with others. I am not big on going to clubs but bars are okay in my book. Other than that I like to go out but I also like to stay at home and just watch a movie or hang out. Also I love poker, it is probably one of my favorite things to do.

I am a goal oriented person, but I love to kick back and have a good time. I'm passionate about life, and can enjoy doing just about anything if laughter is involved. I consider myself fairly low maintenance - give me a beer and a cot and I'm good to go.

I love traveling to see new places. Thus far I've made it to Canada, Mexico, Peru, England, Germany, Amsterdam, Iraq, Kuwait, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, and 12 of US states. That said, when I'm chilling in Texas, I have no problem laying out on the couch to watch movies and taking it easy. Music is a big part of my life, I always keep a soundtrack going in the background. I dj from time to time and recently took up the bass.

Hi, hello, etc. The example on this thing, it's neat. I like it, and I like to follow neat things, so I'll say this: I love random entertainment possibilities and I do love portobello mushrooms. Wild mushrooms, which looks like tiny trees and sticks and at times frighten me, they're even better. A mazing if you ask me. Some jerk turned my heater off last night so it's insanely cold in my home at this moment. I'll be running late for work soon but I'm not terribly bothered, it's a Friday, it cant be that bad. I mean, to be honest I showed up drunk earlier to exercise anyway, and that went over well, so how bad can me not being on time be?

Some sort of insane bug just flew at my face, and it resembled a miniature grasshopper, but more angry. He'll be back, I'm sure.

About 4 years ago I took the "Death Test". I was excited because it told me I would be dead by 24. I'm 26 now, and every day is a day I get to say "fuck you Death Test". So fuck you, Death Test, I'm still alive and kicking. Which happens to be a good Nonpoint song.

I've lived 20 places in my life which puts me at a rotation of over 1 every 1.5 years. So when people ask me where I'm from, I stumble over the question and often glare. I respond with, "What do you mean?" more often than not and just say New York to pacify almost everyone who questions it.

I'm a blast to hang out with on a bad day, a nightmare to cross on a good day, and more action than silence based. I can black out drinking and read a book before I sleep, coming to the next day with no memory of 40 or so pages. Most days I look at what I'm doing and I try to find better ways to do it. I randomly get urges to go outside and "play", a term that seems quasi-unacceptable considering my age but I don't care. I love the outdoors and if that means throwing a ball high into the air for no reason or hiking a mountain, I enjoy it.

A newer, possibly better edit: I'm now looking for Long Distance Relationship Pals. Its like, you and I can pretend to be together from across the globe, but really, you know I won't ever use up my precious vacation time to come visit you. And your boss is way to interested in making you hang out at company picnics to free up your weekends. Don't blame me, it's that enticing mini-skirt you bought when we were on holiday in Rome. But don't worry, in a few months or years I'll make partner, and then we'll really start to re-connect. That, or you'll quit your job to come live with me on the other side of the U.S. and be an artist like you always talked about.

A long time ago in a galxy far far far away, a boy named Steve was born. This was no ordinary alein creature though. He had a strange fasination with earth and the people of Earth, seeing as how Steve was not a earth dweller his dream vacation to Earth was quickly squashed. Then on a hot, sunny, christmas day, santa came to say, Steven I checked my list twice and you have been a very naughty boy, so fr Christmas I will not be able to give you your toy choo choo train set, instead I will have to Banish you to the Earth realm. Steven quickly hide his inner happiness and had started to beg for a second chance, but Santa had already made his decision and had made it clear that it was final. Steve soon beame interested in many human things and almost fit in. Armed with little knowledge and no money he set forth into his meager existence. He found happiness working on cars. Soon after high school he found himself in a sticky situation, with no real future in sight he enlisted in the Army, where he still works today.

I am a very spontaneous person so if you can't keep up then don't try. I love my life and the people in it. I know exactly what i want and I will do whatever I need to get it.. One rule I always live by...DON'T MAKE SOMEONE A PRIORITY, WHEN THE ONLY MAKE YOU AN OPTION!!! so if I will only be an option to you don't waste my time because i will make you a priority!!!!! First, the photo I've posted is not all that great. I'll be posting more as soon as I have a buddy shoot some decent ones. I think that most of my friends would describe me as an all around nice guy. Myself, I would say I'm artistic, playful, good natured, compassionate, and giving but not a push over. Now and then you may find me running with scissors (not afraid to try new things even with a little risk thrown in).
I'm from Austin Texas and moved to Wyoming 4 years ago to attend nursing school. I am currently searching for my first position as a R.N. and have applied both in Tacoma and Austin so we'll see where I land...
I can usually get along with just about anyone (EXCEPT REDNECKS) and find that most people have something to share. My oldest freinds are liberal minded folks and I do feel most at home being around the same.
As far as the things I enjoy, the outdoors, motorcycles-BMW's, good conversation, a great dinner, hanging out with old friends, artwork, and when it can be found, live music. I would also like to get back into mountain biking, I haven't done much since leaving Austin.
As far as what I don't do, you won't find me hunting (the only things I've shot for the last few years have been through the eye of a camera). I really don't get the NASCAR thing, afterall how hard can it be to drive around making left hand turns. I've lived in Los Angles, Dallas, and Houston, if you want to see some real driving try the freeway in any of these at 5pm.
As far as what I'm looking to find in a partner I would say that she is kind, cute, in relatively good shape, tolerant, and is easy going. Oh yes, one more thing, dog lovers are a major plus.

More often than not I am fun-loving, with a touch of mischief. I'm really on this website for the purpose of meeting possible activity partners or friends. If I could dream you up, you would be able to jog at least a quarter mile without stopping and are motivated to increase your current level of fitness. First of all, so you know I am a gentleman and I tend to be old fashioned. I like those small formalities, they just feel right. I'm a great conversationalist, and I enjoy almost any topic, the more unusual the better! I've finished a Masters degree, and ideally I'll get a PhD and teach one day. I'm a tech guy at work, and I also like some time on the video games at home. Hello, writing about myself is not one of of my strong points. I'm a Soldier stationed at Fort Hood, TX working in the Medical Field. I have been in the Army for 18 years and have enjoyed living all over the U.S. and a few different countries. I really enjoyed living in Japan for 2 years but never aquired the taste for sushi. I'm a quite guy at first but I will talk your ear off once I get to know you. I enjoy most every outdoor activity. My favorite is golfing. I play every weekend betting 20 bucks on skins with my golf buddies. I also enjoy fishing and taking a ride on my motorcycle. I have 2 wonderfull boys ages 12 and 15 that live here in the area. Well first off my name is Brandy. I am currently getting a divorce. It is great....not really. My family and friends are my life, without them i would not be.
